WinPilot XP

Test WinPilot on your Desktop PC free of charge. Load maps, aviation database, and enjoy flying practice tasks. Or, if you already are a WinPilot user, you can setup your desktop version to the way you fly, and easily transfer files and settings to Pocket PC.
Using SeeYou or StrePla?  Check out our one-click waypoints and task transfer feature. That's right, you can create a list of waypoints and tasks in SeeYou or StrePla, and then using WinPilot XP transfer it to WinPilot ADV or PRO with just one click of a mouse! Life has never been so easy.

5.15: This desktop version has improved Menu.Waypoints and Menu.Flight Plan pages - they can have bigger size than the Pocket PC version, they are as big the the size of the map is, which makes browsing through waypoints and creating a task even easier.

Setup Note: Please uninstall any older versions of WinPilot XP before installing version 5.15. WinPilot XP Lite is now available as a self-install file that contains sample map and aviation database  for Minden, NV. After downloading, double-click on it to install it on your system. It can be started from Windows Start menu ( by selecting WinPilot XP Lite).
All data files are in directory C:\My Documents.

Note 2: In WinPilot XP Tap-And-Hold in Waypoint Browser and Flight Plan editor can also be accomplished by right-clinking the mouse on a selected waypoint.

Note 3: Press the Alt key if WinPilot XP's map covers an active dialog on the screen and the map stops responding.

WinPilot XP Lite is free of charge, but it does not contain all functions of WinPilot XP. For example, the Thermal Database generation and Team Flying are not present in WinPilot XP Lite (they are present in the full version of WinPilot XP that requires a paid license).
