Installation steps:

1. Download map file (extension *.wp3) to your PC. If the map is zipped (extension *.zip), it needs to be unzipped, so its extension is *.wp3.
2. Using Active Sync, copy it to \My Documents directory on your Pocket PC
3. In WinPilot Simulator, go to Menu.Files.Terrain, and select the file
4. Please note that you will need a turnpoint file for a given region for the map for this region to be shown.

Note: We recommend using Microsoft Internet Explorer to download maps. We have learned about download problems when using Netscape browser - the sizes of downloaded files can be wrong. If you are using Netscape, you have to check file sizes after downloading.
