WinPilotLogo.jpg (2628 bytes) NAV Boxes

'NAV Boxes' are display windows that can be shown on the main map screen.

The 'NAV Boxes' Settings page allows selection of which boxes should be displayed. It is possible to quickly show or hide the set of favorite NAV Boxes by checking or unchecking the "Show NAV Boxes' check box.

Here is a description of the individual boxes: Ground Speed, Track, and Bearing are self explanatory, Wind New shows the most recently calculated wind,  Wind displays the wind that the program currently uses for computations. TP Arrow shows in what direction and how many degrees should the glider turn to fly to the next turnpoint (or the home airport if no task is active), and TP Distance shows the distance to that point.
